Now, as you probably know, book promotion budgets have fallen, and most authors have to do the
bulk of the marketing themselves. Even publishers have to eat! Anyway, one of our authors, James
Marinero, is an inventive practical guy and put together this simple, inexpensive point-of-sale
book display stand. Less than $2, and less than 10 minutes to assemble them in bulk.
This is great at point of sales, and it doesn't even have to be in a bookshop. There's a 'Local
Author' tag on the top of this one - that helps sales too.
How do you make them?
You can buy the flatpack stands from a stationery wholesaler, then just print your side design
and author tag and stick them on.
