Southampton--August 15, 2011--On August 10, 2010, China started sea trials of the Shi-Lang aircraft carrier (ex Russian 'Varyag'). This has caused ripples in world naval circles and Taiwan has expressed nervousness and has just announced a new carrier-busting missile.
